Happy happy 7th Birthday to Robbie!! This year we celebrated a few weeks early in DISNEY!!! We took our first family trip to Disney World and had a fantastic time celebrating Robbie and Brooke's birthdays. Robbie loved the trip so much, he asked if we could move to Florida. He really does love the warm weather and he is excited for summer.
Robbie is now in first grade and loving his new school. He is currently receiving all services through school and is in PT and Speech privately. He is doing really well and always putting in his best effort, even when he is tired. This year came with some new challenges, but we are hopeful that we can get ahead of it all and help get him the best services.
Robbie was diagnosed with dyslexia and has started some reading interventions. He has already progressed so much and we are so proud of all of his hard work.
He has had a couple of EEG scans and unfortunately, they have not shown the best results. He is having spikes that can lead to seizures, so he has had to increase his medicine twice now. We are hopeful this new dosage will help slow the spikes down and allow his brain some healing time again.
With all that he has to push through each day, he continues to have a smile on his face and tells us that he is always going to be okay.
Robbie is a fantastic big brother and already has a strong bond with his sister. We are excited to see what this year has in store for our fighter. We pray that he will stay in good health and that we continue to take steps forward.
